Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning duties in public facilities and city properties.
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of city vehicles and equipment under supervision.
- Interact with the public in a professional manner to answer inquiries and provide information.
- Document work orders, incident reports, and daily activities accurately using digital systems.
- Assist in community outreach programs and special events as required by management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA standards, and departmental regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for citizens and visitors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid California Driver's License is highly preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a clear commitment to public service.
- Physical ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
