Your Role
In this entry-level role, you will act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, managing front-desk operations and providing essential administrative support to agency leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume incoming inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and accuracy.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute correspondence, memos, reports, and other documents.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of filing systems, both electronic and physical.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate meeting logistics for department staff.
- Perform data entry tasks, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with state regulations.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 0-1 year of experience in an administrative or customer service role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
