Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of various government documents, reports, and correspondence with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Data Management: Maintain and update electronic and physical records, ensuring compliance with state privacy regulations and data security protocols.
- Public Assistance: Provide courteous and accurate information to the public and state employees regarding agency programs, policies, and procedures.
- Process Improvement: Assist in identifying workflow inefficiencies and recommend process enhancements to improve departmental productivity.
- Compliance: Monitor and report on regulatory requirements to ensure the agency remains in full compliance with state and federal laws.
- Coordination: Coordinate with other state agencies and departments to facilitate inter-agency communication and project collaboration.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
