Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry and records management for departmental files and databases.
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding state programs, forms, and procedures via phone and in-person.
- Organize, file, and retrieve confidential documents and correspondence with strict adherence to confidentiality protocols.
- Prepare reports, memos, and correspondence using Microsoft Office Suite and internal government systems.
- Collaborate with senior staff to coordinate office schedules and manage meeting logistics.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for visitors and staff alike.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by department leadership.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience or equivalent customer service background.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States.
