Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and correspondence management.
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding state services, benefits, and programs via phone and in person.
- Support department heads in preparing reports, organizing meeting materials, and managing calendars.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with state regulations and data privacy laws.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operational workflows and improve efficiency.
- Conduct research to assist in policy development and program evaluation.
- Monitor and update internal databases to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by state policy.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on the specific department assignment.
