Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration and execution of state-level programs and services for the San Diego community.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain accurate records, reports, and databases using government software.
- Communicate effectively with the public, stakeholders, and internal departments via phone, email, and in-person (if applicable to branch).
- Support senior staff with data analysis, project coordination, and document preparation.
- Ensure strict compliance with state regulations, confidentiality protocols, and internal agency policies.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development workshops to enhance public service skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
- Detail-oriented approach to data entry and record-keeping.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for occasional on-site requirements, if needed).
