Responsibilities
- Assist in the processing of applications and documents for state programs.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and stakeholders via phone and in-person inquiries.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using state database systems.
- Support senior staff with administrative tasks, scheduling, and meeting preparation.
- Conduct basic research to gather information relevant to departmental projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Washington State driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by state regulations.
