Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of industrial facilities to verify compliance with state and federal environmental regulations
- Analyze industrial processes and recommend pollution prevention measures
- Prepare detailed compliance reports and enforcement documentation
- Provide technical assistance to regulated businesses on environmental requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on air, water, and waste management initiatives
- Testify at regulatory hearings and enforcement proceedings as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of regulatory compliance or environmental monitoring experience
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in environmental data analysis software (e.g., GIS, Excel)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in field environments
- Knowledge of EPA and ADEQ regulations preferred
