Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental compliance programs for city facilities
- Conduct site inspections and environmental risk assessments
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on sustainability initiatives
- Analyze environmental data and recommend policy improvements
- Lead community outreach programs on environmental best practices
- Manage hazardous materials handling protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 3+ years of environmental compliance experience
- Valid Texas Department of State Health Services certification
- Strong knowledge of EPA and TCEQ regulations
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and environmental data analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Valid Texas driver's license
