Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental compliance programs for industrial facilities
- Analyze air/water quality data and prepare regulatory reports
- Conduct site inspections and enforce federal environmental regulations
- Collaborate with state agencies on pollution prevention initiatives
- Prepare environmental impact assessments for federal projects
- Provide technical guidance to regulated industries and stakeholders
- Represent the EPA in public meetings and community outreach
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years environmental compliance/regulatory experience
- Familiarity with EPA regulations (Clean Air/Water Acts)
- Strong data analysis and report writing skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel
- U.S. citizenship required for federal position
- Ability to obtain Secret security clearance
- GIS certification preferred
