Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental compliance inspections and investigations for industrial facilities
- Analyze water quality data and prepare detailed regulatory reports
- Develop and implement pollution prevention strategies for local businesses
- Coordinate with local government agencies on environmental initiatives
- Provide technical guidance to the public on environmental regulations
- Assist in emergency response for environmental incidents
- Prepare and maintain accurate compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
- 3+ years of environmental compliance experience
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Strong knowledge of EPA and FDEP regulations
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and data analysis software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred
