Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental compliance strategies for industrial facilities in the Bay Area
- Analyze air quality data and enforce federal Clean Air Act regulations
- Lead interagency task forces on climate adaptation planning
- Prepare technical reports for EPA leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Train state/local agencies on environmental monitoring protocols
- Manage grant programs for community environmental justice projects
- Represent EPA at public hearings and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years experience with federal environmental regulations (EPA/FRA/DOE)
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and environmental data analysis software
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for technical audiences
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Valid California driver's license for field site visits
- Experience with NEPA documentation and environmental impact statements
