Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental inspections and compliance audits for industrial facilities
- Analyze air/water quality data and prepare technical reports
- Develop pollution prevention strategies for regulated businesses
- Coordinate public education workshops on environmental regulations
- Collaborate with state agencies on enforcement actions
- Respond to citizen complaints and environmental emergencies
- Stay current on federal/state environmental policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
- 3+ years regulatory compliance or environmental protection experience
- Texas Class C Driver's License with clean record
- Strong data analysis and report writing skills
- Experience with GIS mapping and environmental software
- Excellent communication and public speaking abilities
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred
- Knowledge of TCEQ regulations and EPA guidelines
