Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental compliance strategies for federal facilities and regulated industries
- Conduct on-site inspections and environmental audits to ensure adherence to federal regulations
- Analyze complex environmental data to identify pollution trends and recommend mitigation solutions
- Prepare technical reports and policy recommendations for regional environmental initiatives
- Coordinate with state agencies and local governments on environmental protection projects
- Lead community outreach programs to promote environmental stewardship
- Assist in developing emergency response protocols for environmental incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental compliance or regulatory affairs
- Valid federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in environmental data analysis tools (GIS, ArcGIS, R)
- Strong understanding of EPA regulations (Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act)
