Responsibilities
- Lead environmental compliance audits for industrial facilities in Los Angeles County
- Develop and implement pollution prevention strategies for coastal businesses
- Coordinate with local government agencies on climate action plans
- Analyze environmental data and prepare regulatory compliance reports
- Train municipal staff on hazardous waste management protocols
- Represent the agency in public environmental forums
- Manage grant-funded environmental restoration projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or related field
- 5+ years regulatory compliance experience
- California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) certification
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Experience with GIS mapping software
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours during field inspections
