Responsibilities
- Manage veteran case files with 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Process administrative requests within 48-hour turnaround
- Coordinate with federal agencies using VA systems and protocols
- Prepare official correspondence and reports for senior leadership
- Support outreach initiatives for veteran benefits programs
- Maintain compliance with federal regulations (VA Handbook 5007)
- Train junior staff on administrative procedures
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Public Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years federal/government administrative experience
- Proficiency in VA systems (VBMS, VISTA) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required
- Knowledge of veteran benefits programs (GI Bill, VHA, etc.)
