Responsibilities
- Process and manage veteran benefit claims with 99% accuracy
- Coordinate with federal agencies for documentation verification
- Maintain confidential veteran records in compliance with federal regulations
- Respond to inquiries from veterans and their families within 24 hours
- Prepare reports for senior leadership using VA databases
- Support outreach programs for veteran community engagement
- Ensure all tasks meet Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) standards
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years federal administrative experience
- Proficient in VA systems (VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Active security clearance preferred (ability to obtain if necessary)
- Knowledge of veterans' benefits programs
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with diverse populations
