Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage administrative operations for federal programs
- Prepare official correspondence and documentation in compliance with federal guidelines
- Process veterans' benefits applications with accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support agency objectives
- Maintain electronic and physical records in accordance with NARA standards
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and stakeholders
- Assist with budget tracking and procurement processes
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (mandatory for federal employment)
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of federal records management and FOIA procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Experience with veterans' affairs systems preferred
