Responsibilities
- Manage veteran records databases with 99.9% accuracy per federal compliance standards
- Coordinate multi-departmental operations including scheduling, correspondence, and document processing
- Implement FOIA requests and maintain strict adherence to federal privacy regulations (HIPAA/PII)
- Analyze administrative workflows to optimize efficiency using Lean methodologies
- Serve as primary liaison between VA departments and external stakeholders
- Prepare official reports for congressional oversight and performance metrics
- Maintain security clearances for sensitive veteran information systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years federal administrative experience with SF-50 documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and VA-specific systems (VISTA, VACOLS)
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Expert knowledge of federal procurement procedures (FAR/DFARS)
- TS/BI clearance preferred
- VA-specific training certifications (e.g., VA Records Management)
