Responsibilities
- Manage and organize complex federal records and correspondence in strict compliance with established regulations and privacy laws.
- Schedule and coordinate high-level meetings for senior leadership, including domestic and international travel arrangements.
- Prepare, proofread, and process official reports, memos, and correspondence for signature.
- Assist in the onboarding and offboarding processes for federal employees, maintaining personnel files.
- Maintain the departmental filing system, ensuring data integrity and easy retrieval.
- Answer and direct phone calls and inquiries, serving as the primary point of contact for visitors.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a professional, government, or legal setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic filing systems.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a background investigation, drug screening, and medical exam.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
