Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain comprehensive federal records and filing systems in compliance with OMB and NARA standards.
- Coordinate and schedule executive-level meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing meeting packets.
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution to appropriate federal agencies.
- Prepare and edit a variety of federal documents, reports, and presentations with a focus on clarity and compliance.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment, placing orders and tracking budgets for federal administrative expenses.
- Assist in the onboarding and orientation of new federal employees, ensuring all procedural requirements are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative or clerical support roles within a federal, state, or local government environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with federal case management software.
- Strong understanding of federal regulations, privacy laws (e.g., FERPA, HIPAA), and administrative protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
