Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential veteran records and correspondence in compliance with federal regulations (HIPAA, FOIA)
- Coordinate administrative workflows including scheduling, meeting logistics, and document processing
- Utilize federal procurement systems (e.g., GSA Advantage) for office supply and equipment acquisitions
- Prepare official correspondence, reports, and briefing materials for senior leadership review
- Oversee fiscal tracking and reconciliation of departmental budgets using SAP systems
- Serve as primary liaison for inter-agency communications and stakeholder coordination
- Implement records management protocols per NARA standards for document lifecycle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of federal administrative or office management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
- Knowledge of federal procurement regulations (FAR) and records management standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance
- Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities with professional demeanor
- Experience with federal travel authorization and voucher processing
