Responsibilities
- Office Operations: Manage daily office operations, including receiving and directing visitors, managing incoming mail, and coordinating office supplies.
- Calendar Management: Maintain complex calendars for senior leadership, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Compliance & Documentation: Prepare, process, and maintain accurate government records and correspondence, ensuring strict adherence to federal formatting and compliance standards.
- Communication Hub: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of internal meetings, training sessions, and public outreach events.
- Financial Administration: Support basic financial tracking, expense reporting, and procurement processes for departmental budgets.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in administrative support, preferably within a government or government contracting environment.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and government-specific software (e.g., eProcurement systems).
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft professional documents.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
