Responsibilities
- Manage confidential veteran records and correspondence with strict adherence to federal privacy regulations (HIPAA/PII)
- Coordinate scheduling, meetings, and logistics for multi-disciplinary teams using federal calendars
- Process personnel actions, travel authorizations, and procurement requests through federal systems (e.g., HRIS, GSA)
- Prepare and edit official documents, reports, and briefings for senior leadership review
- Serve as primary liaison between departments, ensuring seamless communication and information flow
- Monitor and maintain administrative databases with zero-error accuracy for compliance audits
- Train staff on federal administrative protocols and records management procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required with ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience in federal/government setting
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal document management systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal regulations (FAR, DFARS, VA policies)
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
- Professional certification (e.g., AAP, PARWCC) preferred
