As a Federal Administrative Specialist, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that all administrative functions are executed with precision and compliance with federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, including reception, mail distribution, and supply inventory.
- Prepare, compose, and edit correspondence, reports, and memoranda with a high degree of accuracy.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements for senior leadership.
- Maintain confidential federal records and ensure compliance with privacy laws and VA regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of budget proposals and financial tracking documents.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding administrative inquiries.
- Perform data entry and manage electronic filing systems to ensure information accessibility.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a federal, military, or high-level corporate environment.
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 4 years of related experience and/or training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic document management systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
- Knowledge of federal procurement or human resources processes is highly preferred.
