Responsibilities
- Office Management: Oversee daily office operations, including mail distribution, inventory management, and supply ordering to ensure a productive work environment.
- Correspondence: Draft, proofread, and edit complex federal correspondence, memos, and reports with a high degree of accuracy and adherence to style guides.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Manage executive calendars, coordinate complex travel itineraries, and organize high-level meetings and conference calls.
- Records Management: Maintain and organize electronic and physical filing systems in strict compliance with federal retention policies and privacy regulations.
- Event Planning: Plan and execute internal and external events, including training sessions, town halls, and agency functions.
- Support Services: Provide administrative support to leadership, including data entry, expense reporting, and processing travel vouchers.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field, OR 4 years of specialized experience in an administrative capacity.
- Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a government security clearance.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal or high-level corporate administration.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with federal case management software.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with senior officials.
- Organization: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
