Responsibilities
- Manage and organize complex federal records, ensuring compliance with retention schedules and privacy regulations.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, travel arrangements, and conference calls for senior leadership.
- Prepare, process, and review correspondence, reports, and briefings for accuracy and timely submission.
- Assist with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and document production.
- Liaise between internal departments and external federal partners to facilitate communication.
- Maintain the department's filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring accessibility.
- Support special projects and ad-hoc administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in federal, state, or local government administration.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
- Ability to pass a background check and security clearance process.
