Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications with precision and compliance to federal regulations
- Manage confidential records using secure government systems (VA VISTA, VBA)
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve veteran inquiries
- Prepare official correspondence and reports adhering to federal formatting standards
- Conduct data entry with 99% accuracy for veteran case files
- Assist with veteran outreach events on weekends (2-4 times monthly)
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and VA privacy protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- 1+ years administrative experience in regulated environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to pass federal background investigation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail with documentation standards
- U.S. citizenship required
- Experience with government databases preferred
