Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive aircraft and maintenance facility inspections per FAA regulations
- Investigate aviation incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Develop and deliver safety compliance training programs
- Collaborate with manufacturers on airworthiness directives
- Review and approve maintenance procedures and modifications
- Maintain detailed compliance documentation and audit records
- Represent FAA at industry safety conferences and symposiums
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Technology or related field
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required
- Minimum 5 years aviation maintenance experience
- Knowledge of FAA Part 145, 43, and 91 regulations
- Strong analytical and investigative abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
