Responsibilities
- Conduct safety inspections and audits of aviation facilities and operations
- Analyze incident reports to identify safety trends and recommend corrective actions
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for industry professionals
- Collaborate with airlines, manufacturers, and airport operators on safety initiatives
- Prepare detailed technical reports and regulatory compliance documentation
- Respond to safety-related emergencies and provide expert guidance
- Participate in cross-functional safety committees and working groups
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Safety, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of aviation safety or regulatory compliance experience
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification preferred
- Proficiency in safety management systems (SMS) and risk assessment methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory detail
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel up to 25%
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
