Responsibilities
- Client Intake & Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service to federal beneficiaries via phone and email, resolving complex inquiries regarding benefits eligibility and processing.
- Data Integrity: Accurately input and update beneficiary records into federal databases, ensuring strict compliance with privacy regulations and data security standards.
- Case Management: Review and process incoming documentation for weekend applications, verifying completeness and forwarding to the appropriate department for final adjudication.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate discrepancies in benefit claims and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues promptly, reducing wait times for our clients.
- Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of weekend operations and generate weekly reports on case volumes and resolution metrics.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the weekend intake process and suggest actionable improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in federal customer service, government benefits administration, or a related administrative field.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours specifically on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex policies to diverse audiences in plain English.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software or government case management systems (e.g., Salesforce, Servicenow).
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling sensitive personal and financial information.
- Background: Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain necessary security clearance.
