Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate federal employee benefits claims, including health, dental, and retirement options, with a high degree of accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service and guidance to federal staff regarding leave requests, payroll inquiries, and benefit enrollment.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, OPM guidelines, and internal company policies.
- Manage and maintain confidential personnel files and digital databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Collaborate with the HR team to resolve complex employee issues and facilitate smooth onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Prepare and submit required reports to federal oversight bodies in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in federal benefits administration, HR support, or a related administrative role is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations (e.g., FERS, CSRS) and HR best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex policies clearly.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS software (e.g., Workday, SAP, or similar).
- Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain required security clearance.
