Applicants must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and adhere to federal strictures regarding timekeeping and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Review and adjudicate federal claims submitted by the public with accuracy and efficiency.
- Verify documentation and ensure compliance with federal regulations and agency policies.
- Communicate with claimants via phone and correspondence to resolve inquiries and explain decisions.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive federal data and personal information.
- Document all case files thoroughly and update the central database in real-time.
- Collaborate with the Monday-Friday team to ensure continuity of operations.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible for federal employment.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in claims processing, customer service, or government administration is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect discrepancies in data.
- Must be willing and able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Pass a federal background check and drug screening.
