Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' benefit claims with accuracy and timeliness
- Review medical records and supporting documentation for eligibility verification
- Communicate with veterans, families, and healthcare providers regarding claim status
- Maintain detailed case files in compliance with federal regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex claim issues
- Generate weekly performance reports and quality metrics
- Participate in ongoing training on policy updates and procedural changes
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration or related field
- Minimum 2 years of claims processing experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database management
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to pass federal background check
