What You'll Do: Process complex veterans' benefit claims with precision, maintain detailed documentation, and ensure compliance with federal regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve discrepancies and provide exceptional service to our nation's heroes.
Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' compensation and pension claims
- Review medical records and service documentation for accuracy
- Apply federal regulations (38 CFR) to determine benefit eligibility
- Communicate claim status updates to veterans and stakeholders
- Maintain electronic claim files in VA systems
- Collaborate with medical examiners and legal teams
- Generate detailed decision letters with clear rationale
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4+ years relevant administrative experience
- Federal claims processing or VA experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and VA systems (VBMS, VBA)
- Knowledge of 38 CFR and veterans' benefit programs
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility
