Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of a 300+ bed VA medical center
- Ensure compliance with federal healthcare regulations (JCAHO, HIPAA)
- Oversee $50M+ annual budget and resource allocation
- Lead cross-functional teams in strategic planning initiatives
- Coordinate with federal agencies for veteran service programs
- Implement quality improvement initiatives for patient care
- Represent facility at regional VA leadership meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- 5+ years of healthcare management experience
- Federal facility compliance expertise (VA, DoD, or CMS)
- Strong budgetary and financial analysis skills
- VA experience or federal government background preferred
- Active state healthcare administrator license
- Proficiency in EHR systems and federal reporting tools
- US citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
