- Lead data integrity initiatives for 20,000+ veteran records
- Coordinate with IT teams to implement health information technology upgrades
- Train staff on health information management best practices
- Conduct audits to maintain quality assurance standards
- Collaborate on healthcare data analytics projects for veteran care improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field
- 3+ years experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- RHIA or RHIT certification required
- Expert knowledge of HIPAA and federal healthcare regulations
- Proficiency in VA VistA or similar EHR platforms
- Experience with healthcare data analytics tools
- Strong project management skills
- U.S. citizenship and federal background clearance
