Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' disability compensation claims with 99% accuracy
- Analyze medical records and supporting documentation for completeness
- Communicate claim decisions via secure federal portals and correspondence
- Collaborate with VA medical centers and veteran service organizations
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations (38 CFR)
- Utilize Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS) for case management
- Conduct quality reviews and resolve discrepancies within 72 hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field
- 2+ years experience in claims processing or federal documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal claims systems
- VA certification in Claims Adjudication (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information under HIPAA/PRIVACT
- U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility
