Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with VA federal regulations and healthcare standards
- Conduct internal audits and investigations for policy violations
- Develop compliance training programs for 200+ staff members
- Collaborate with legal counsel on regulatory interpretations
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership
- Implement corrective action plans for identified deficiencies
- Stay current with evolving federal healthcare legislation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years federal compliance experience in healthcare setting
- Active VA or federal security clearance
- Knowledge of HIPAA, 38 CFR, and VA healthcare regulations
- Experience with risk assessment frameworks
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Ability to obtain/maintain DHS Suitability clearance
