Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal compliance standards across veteran healthcare operations
- Conduct weekend audits of medical documentation and billing systems
- Investigate regulatory violations and prepare corrective action reports
- Coordinate with federal agencies (CMS, OIG) on compliance matters
- Develop weekend-specific training materials for staff
- Update compliance protocols based on new federal regulations
- Lead weekend incident response for compliance-related issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years federal compliance experience (VA preferred)
- Valid Wisconsin nursing home administrator license or equivalent
- Proficiency in federal healthcare regulations (HIPAA, Stark Law)
- Weekend shift availability with weekday training commitment
- Advanced knowledge of CMS quality metrics
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
- U.S. citizenship required for federal position
