Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive compliance audits for federal programs and services
- Develop and implement regulatory policies aligned with VA and OMB guidelines
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to resolve compliance gaps
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership and oversight bodies
- Stay current on evolving federal regulations (e.g., 41 CFR, FISMA, HIPAA)
- Train staff on compliance protocols and best practices
- Manage corrective action plans for non-compliance issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of federal compliance or auditing experience
- Active Federal Security Clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Proficiency in compliance management software (e.g., Deltek Costpoint)
- Strong knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- VA-specific experience preferred but not required
