Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance frameworks aligned with federal regulations (VA, HIPAA, OMB)
- Conduct internal audits across 5+ VA facilities in the Tampa Bay area
- Train staff on compliance protocols and policy updates
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for senior leadership
- Coordinate with DOJ and OIG on regulatory investigations
- Manage corrective action plans with 100% implementation tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 5+ years federal compliance experience
- Active VA security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Expert knowledge of CFR Title 38 and VA directives
- Project management certification (PMP preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in GSA MAX and FedTrack systems
