Responsibilities
- Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations and VA policies in all veteran service operations
- Conduct comprehensive compliance audits and implement corrective action plans
- Develop and maintain robust documentation systems for regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align processes with federal standards
- Monitor legislative changes and update compliance protocols accordingly
- Train staff on regulatory requirements and ethical practices
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership and oversight bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal compliance or regulatory experience
- Deep understanding of federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CFCM) preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
