Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret federal regulatory changes affecting healthcare operations
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and VA policies
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for staff
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior leadership
- Collaborate with legal counsel on regulatory updates and policy revisions
- Lead cross-functional compliance improvement initiatives
- Manage documentation of compliance processes and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of compliance experience in federal or healthcare sector
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, CMS regulations, and VA guidelines
- Certified Healthcare Compliance Professional (CHCP) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and compliance management software
- Excellent written communication skills for reporting and documentation
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity
