Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS) for veteran healthcare contracts
- Conduct compliance audits for medical supply vendors and service providers
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for OMB and VA oversight bodies
- Coordinate with VA legal team on regulatory updates and policy changes
- Train department staff on federal compliance protocols
- Manage vendor performance metrics against federal contract terms
- Ensure HIPAA and VA-specific privacy standards are maintained
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years federal compliance or procurement experience
- Active DOD/VA Facility Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) preferred
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a secure federal facility
- U.S. citizenship required
