Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security patrols and surveillance of federal facilities during overnight shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials for all personnel entering restricted areas
- Operate advanced security systems including CCTV, motion detectors, and alarm monitoring equipment
- Respond immediately to security breaches, medical emergencies, and suspicious activities
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs for federal compliance documentation
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Conduct threat assessments and implement emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret security clearance
- Minimum 3 years of security/law enforcement experience or military service
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in security technology systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
