Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement federal regulatory compliance across VA programs
- Conduct audits and prepare compliance reports for OMB and GAO
- Collaborate with legal teams to update agency policies
- Train staff on HIPAA, FOIA, and federal procurement standards
- Manage compliance documentation and case files
- Respond to congressional inquiries and audit requests
- Coordinate with state and local government partners
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- 3+ years federal compliance/regulatory experience
- Knowledge of 5 CFR, FAR, and VA regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with federal grant management systems
- Strong analytical writing and presentation skills
