Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal statutes (CFR, US Code) in North Carolina operations
- Coordinate interagency audits with NC State Bureau of Investigation and local authorities
- Develop compliance frameworks for public sector contracts exceeding $1M
- Lead crisis response protocols for federal-state jurisdictional disputes
- Train state/local officials on federal regulatory requirements
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for Congressional oversight committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years federal compliance experience with state/local government interface
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret clearance candidates prioritized)
- Expertise in 5 CFR Part 793 (Ethics) and 41 CFR Chapter 102 (Procurement)
- Proficient in GSA Advantage and FedTrack systems
- Professional certification (e.g., CFCP, FCAP) required
- Ability to travel 15% statewide for field audits
