Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of federal financial systems to detect fraud and non-compliance
- Analyze complex financial data using specialized software (IDEAS, ACL) to identify discrepancies
- Coordinate with DOJ, FBI, and other federal agencies on multi-agency investigations
- Prepare detailed audit reports and testify as expert witness in federal proceedings
- Develop compliance training programs for federal agencies
- Stay current with federal financial regulations (FAR, DFARS, GSA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years federal audit or compliance experience
- Active CPA certification or CIA designation
- Proficiency in audit software (IDEAS, ACL, Tableau)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Experience with federal procurement processes and FAR compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
