Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal regulations across state/local agencies
- Conduct comprehensive audits of policy implementations
- Collaborate with legal teams on regulatory updates
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for federal oversight bodies
- Train state/local personnel on federal requirements
- Investigate non-compliance incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with DOJ field offices for cross-jurisdictional initiatives
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 3+ years federal/state regulatory compliance experience
- Proficiency in compliance management software (e.g., RegSync, Compliance 360)
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders across government levels
- Knowledge of 42 CFR, CFR Title 45, and HIPAA regulations
- Valid Kansas driver's license
